Director of Development
FULL-TIME
Summit Community Center (SCC) is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Director of Development to build and lead our development program. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing nonprofit that empowers young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through education, wellness, recreation, and community engagement.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will design and manage all aspects of SCC’s fundraising program, including our signature spring auction and gala, year-end giving initiatives, donor stewardship, partnerships, and emerging philanthropic opportunities. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and families. The Director of Development will supervise the part time Development Coordinator and part time Grants Manager.

Member Support Specialist
PART-TIME - SATURDAYS
We are seeking a Member Support Specialist (Behavior Support Focus) to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful, relationship-centered work and is available to support our Saturday programming. The Member Support Specialist provides 1:1 and small-group behavioral support, helps members navigate emotional or sensory regulation needs, and contributes to a calm, inclusive, and engaging environment across all programs. This role also collaborates closely with families and caregivers to ensure consistent support strategies and strong communication, including providing updates as needed, sharing observations about member successes or challenges, and fostering partnerships that help members thrive both at Summit and at home.
Starting Pay: $30 per hour

Group Instructor
PART-TIME
The Summit Community Center (SCC) is seeking a dedicated and outgoing professional to become a Summit Community Center Group Instructor. This position is responsible for the planning, preparation, and implementation of member clubs and activities in a way that is respectful and accessible to all registered members and highlights and supports social and community engagement. This work can include but is not limited to providing small group instructions, writing and delivering lesson plans, assessing member engagement and collaborating with members and other staff to ensure they’re meeting the members needs.
An ideal candidate for this position would be a dedicated professional that has a passion working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, patient, organized, a flexible thinker, good problem solver, and shows empathy to those around them.
Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour

Mentor - Emergency Sub (Saturday)
PART-TIME
The Summit Community Center (SCC) is seeking a dedicated and outgoing professional to become a Summit Community Center Mentor. This position is responsible for facilitating and supporting the engagement of our members in center programming both at our center and in the community. By participating alongside our members, the SCC mentors provide engagement support to our members in a respectful supportive way that promotes member autonomy and independence. SCC mentors are also encouraged to share their special interests and passions through leading groups and activities with members.
Pay range: $20-$25 per hour
