The Nick and Danielle Cuvillier Memorial Fund
On December 30, our Summit Community Center family experienced an unimaginable loss. Nick Cuvillier and his mother, Danielle, passed away, leaving our community heartbroken.
Nick was a cherished member of Summit. He lived with Angelman syndrome and was, quite simply, one of the happiest people you could ever meet. His joy was contagious. His smile filled every room. Nick reminded us daily what it means to live fully, openly, and with unconditional love. One of his greatest joys was spending time with friends through community outings and activities at Summit.
Danielle was an extraordinary mother and a deeply kind presence within our community. Her devotion to Nick, her warmth, and her unwavering belief in his independence and belonging touched everyone who knew her. Together, Nick and Danielle embodied everything Summit stands for connection, dignity, inclusion, and love.
In their memory, we have established The Nick and Danielle Cuvillier Memorial Fund. Gifts to this fund will support inclusive community experiences for young adults like Nick, creating opportunities for connection and joy through activities such as boating, biking, bowling, sporting events, and other shared adventures.
This fund honors Nick’s laughter and Danielle’s care by carrying their legacy forward. Through your generosity, more young adults with disabilities will continue to experience the belonging, safety, and joy that Nick so deeply loved.
Summit is a registered 501c(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible.
