Learning Kitchen Skills

Help build a place where every adult with an intellectual or developmental disability belongs.

More than 36,000 people in King County live with an intellectual or developmental disability. At 21 or 22, they leave school, and most of what held their days together leaves with them. The classes end. The friends scatter. The bus route to somewhere they're expected stops running.

Summit is the place they go next. Members learn to cook, ride the light rail, hold a job, and walk into a room where people know their name. Independence gets built one hard thing at a time, in front of a crowd that wants them to succeed.

Your gift is what makes this place possible, for every member who walks in the door and the next one who hasn't found it yet. Whatever you choose to give, it goes straight into what builds independence: classes, outings, vocational training, and the staff who know every member by name.

Summit is a registered 501c(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. Tax ID# 86-3715700
